Merlot

We have a small planting of Merlot that has historically yielded about two or three barrels of wine. In earlier times this was blended with the cabernet sauvignon, however our present approach is to now keep it separate, and it has been released as a limited bottling for sale at cellar-door. It is our belief that visitors to the winery cellar should enjoy good wines at bargain prices, and the pricing of this wine has been pitched to meet that objective.

The 2005 vinatge was a once-only blend to make a Merlot-Malbec blend.
